IFR Inspections

Have your aircraft’s Altimeter’s, Transponder’s and Pitot/Static Systems tested and recertified at your home airport with our Mobile Repair Station Capabilities. Inspections are required every 24 calendar months to comply with 14 CFR 91.411 and 914.13.

During an IFR appointment we will test your aircrafts transponder system to comply with 14 CFR 91.413. Your Altimeter, Pitot/Static and Altitude Reporting System will be tested in accordance with 14 CFR 91.411.

Please note for inspection to comply with 91.411 all altimeters in your aircraft must be tested. This means if you have an analog altimeter and two Garmin G5’s, three altimeters must be tested since the G5’s provide altitude readings. Learn more about the required testing.

Note: This test does not certify your aircraft for IFR flight, multiple other factors must be considered. Reference 14 CFR 91.205 for details.

IFR Pricing

  • • 1 Transponder tested per 14 CFR 91.413 and 91.411.

    • Up to 2 altimeter’s tested per 14 CFR 91.411.

    • 1 Static System leak checked to 1,000 feet above airport elevation FAR 23.1325.

    • Recertification paperwork and logbook entry.

    • 1 hour of troubleshooting if required.

  • • 1 Transponder tested per 14 CFR 91.413 and 91.411.

    • Up to 2 altimeter’s tested per 14 CFR 91.411.

    • 1 Static System leak checked to the aircraft maximum cabin pressure differential altitude per FAR 23.1325.

    • Recertification paperwork and logbook entry.

    • 1 hour of troubleshooting if required.

  • • 2nd Static System and up to 2 altimeters in same pressurized aircraft tested per 14 CFR 91.411 - $450.00

    • 3rd altimeter tested to 20K-35K feet in same static system - $100.00

    • 2nd Transponder tested per 14 CFR 91.413 and 91.411 - $100.00

    • ADS-B In/Out testing per 14 CFR 91.227 - $100.00

    • Discrepancy corrective actions charged at $150.00 per hour
